100 projects in 10 years


2016 marks ten years since the inception of Rigby and Rigby and we are celebrating in style.

Originally created by Steve Rigby as a development company Rigby and Rigby diversified through the recession to take on private client work, which now represents 85% of our project workload. The fledgling team of 15 back in 2006 has expanded to more than fifty and now includes an RIBA architectural practice as well as talented designers, project managers, planning specialists and an award- winning construction company, amongst others.

Our 100th project is the stunning redevelopment of a family home in Bedford Gardens, an exclusive tree-lined avenue tucked between Kensington Palace and Holland Park in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. Due to complete in late 2017 we will be sharing the journey of this milestone development in an exclusive visual project diary throughout our anniversary year.

Not that projects 97, 98 and 99 haven’t been remarkable either – given that they include the redevelopment of a luxurious £11.5m three-bed apartment overlooking the US embassy on Grosvenor Square and a pair of light-filled apartments on Charles Street in Mayfair. In fact, across the last decade, Rigby and Rigby has built a reputation for delivering a wide range of projects to outstanding levels of quality and design, with inspiring architecture and striking interiors.

One of our most unique developments has also become one of our most celebrated. Rigby and Rigby was awarded the prestigious International Design and Architecture Award (Property over £20m) for our innovative conversion of St Saviour’s House, a former church behind Harrods, into a stunning £45m home complete with a glass and bronze lift which rises towards the vaulted ceiling some 13 metres above.
